When I sat down with Sophie to go over her wedding plans and make plans for the engagement session, one of the first things I noticed was her sweet, bubbly personality. I can easily see why David fell in love with her! I asked Sophie to share their story, so here it is ๐ “I was living in Guatemala for 8 months with the family from ORI who was in charge of the work teams. We met in January 2015 when David came down on a work team. I spent the whole week with them out at the orphanage called Manos de Compasion (Hands of Compassion). The team was a group of young people from the Lancaster area. It wasn’t love at first sight, at least not for me, but it is still a whirlwind of a romance! He started talking to me a couple months later and we started dating in June of 2015 after I returned home for good. We spent every possible day together since and we were engaged in December! Almost a year after we met.” I remember Sophie telling me during our planning session that she knew she wanted to marry David 3 months after they met ๐ She was so excited! We ended up with perfect weather the evening of their engagement session and had so much fun hanging out together. Seeing the love between these two was adorable and I am so looking forward to their wedding this summer. We started off with pics that included David’s love of tractors. The Massey was his uncle’s so it held a special memory for him.
